In the future, it will be possible to add V2G and a battery with a bi-directional module (DC-DC).

When installing a bi-directional module (DC-DC) or V2G at the station, the station's power will decrease by 25% (from 40kW to 30kW per module). The maximum power of the station with these options will be 120kW.

Delivery time for components and manufacturing of the charging station is 60-90 days.

Depending on the season and the speed of delivery, the production time may vary, both upwards and downwards.

Calculation of the
station average payback

In order to calculate the payback* of a charging station, let's use the next steps:

The cost of the 160kW charging complex is €18,500

Minimum station load 10% of the day. Station charging (~2.5 h/day)

The charging station has a capacity of

200kW

Minimum net profit from sales of 1 kW

€0.2

1. Calculation of the min number of energy sales per day

Minimum operating time of the charging station

2.5h/day

Charging station capacity

2. Calculation of the min profit from energy sales per day

Minimum electricity sales per day

400kWh

Minimum clear profit from sales of 1 kW

€0.2

Minimum profit from energy sales per day

€80

3. Calculating the payback of the station

Price of the charging station

Estimated payback period of the station

~232 days

According to these calculations, the estimated payback period for the plant is 232 days.

*Individual consumption per charging station may vary depending on geography, traffic corridor, proximity to highly-trafficked areas, daily load profile, etc.
